School Shows at the Théâtre Royal du Peruchet

Give your pupils more than a trip to the theatre. At Peruchet, the day begins with a live string-puppet show and continues with a visit to the International Puppet Museum. Both take place inside an 18th-century farmhouse in the heart of Ixelles, Brussels.

One trip, two experiences

The show. Your class watches one of the season’s productions, performed live by our puppeteers. It’s fairytales, magic and string puppets, from a theatre that has been performing since 1929.

The museum. After the show, pupils explore the International Puppet Museum, founded in 1938. They get an introduction to the art of puppetry and its stories, through a collection gathered from around the world.

Good to know

When: Monday to Friday, except Wednesday, during the run of each show in our programme.
Language: all our shows are performed in French. Much of the story is carried by movement, music and image, which makes it a gentle, fun immersion for pupils learning French.
Transport: not included.
